2019-2020년 Winter SSLI GE Academic Reading and Writing 집중코스2019.11.07 16:31  2019-2020년 Winter SSLI GE Academic Reading and Writing 집중코스 수업개요 : 본원 Academic Reading and Writing 수업은 방학마다 해외 교포 및 유학생이 필수로 수강하고 가는 수업입니다. 국제학교는 물론 국내학교 재학생에게도 필수과목이며 SSLI 본원 최정예 강사진으로 진행하는 프로그램입니다. * 학생들의 분석독해 능력 및 읽고 분석하고 쓰는 에세이 스킬을 최대한 올려줄 수 있는 프로그램입니다. * Short Story 리딩 및 Article 리딩과 함께 Critical Writing, Persuasive Writing 포함 다양한 장르의 영작문을 마스터하는 코스입니다. * Pre-SAT 준비과정으로 또는 학교 GPA관리에 도움이 되는 수업입니다. 기간 : Academic Reading + Academic Writing + Literature & Article Discussion and Presentation Academic Reading + Academic Writing + Literature + Article Discussion and Presentation Session 3 : 1월 20일(월) – 1월 31일(금) (2주 주5회 월-금 총10회) * SSLI 분당 Only Academic Reading + Academic Writing + Literature + Article Discussion and Presentation * 각 Session 컨텐츠 중복되지 않으므로 연속 수강도 가능합니다. 대상 : 예비 7-9 학년 (수업 컨텐츠는 9-10학년 이상으로 구성됨) * 국제학교, 외고, 자사고 입학예정인 예비 10학년 (예비고1) * 배치고사 진행 후 반배정  진행내용 : Short Stories, Non-Fiction Reading, Literature, Article Reading Academic Writing, Advanced Grammar Essential Vocabulary for Academic Reading and Writing Novel + Article Reading & Discussion, Presentation * This course will provide an overview of the fundamentals of academic writing including : Summarization Analysis Argumentation Description Exposition Research Narration 교재 (Novels and Textbooks) : To be informed only to registered students. * Subject to change (리스트는 사전에 통보 후 변경될 수도 있습니다) * 수업교재는 수업 첫날 등록된 수강생들에게만 배포합니다. 수업시간 : 09:00am - 09:30am Vocabulary Test 09:30am - 10:50am Lecture 1 11:00am - 12:20pm Lecture 2 12:20pm - 01:20pm Assigned Writing & Rewriting 01:20pm – 02:00pm Vocab Re-Test (Those who failed the Vocab Test) 수업특징 : 1. This course is designed to improve overall academic skills and thinking skills in order to succeed in school. (이 과정은 학교에서 성공하기 위해 전반적인 학업 능력과 사고 능력을 향상시키기 위해 고안되었습니다) 2. Based on what you have learned in class, you must remain after class, write the day's writing, and submit it. (수업 중 배운 것을 토대로 수업 후 남아서 그날의 Writing을 쓴 후 제출하고 하원) 3. Students’ vocabulary range should be expanded weekly for writing, and if the student does not pass the vocabulary test, the student must remain and the Re-Test will be conducted. (Writing을 위해서는 어휘력도 확장해야 하기에 매주 어휘 Test를 진행하며, 통과 못할 시에는 남아서 Re-Test 진행하셔야 하며 부모님께서 본 규정 꼭 지켜주셔야 합니다.) 4. 6-15 students in each session.
